Northern Forum of Zonal and State Youth Leaders of PDP visits Boni Haruna.

Members of the Northern Forum of Zonal and State Youth Leaders of PDP today paid a courtesy call on the Former Governor of Adamawa state, His Excellency Boni Haruna in his Asokoro residence

Speaking before the Fmr Governor, Chairman of the group who doubles as the North Central Youth Leader Hon Aruwa Ismaila intimated the the Fmr Governor on the mission of the group.

The group leader decried the dwindling of the party fortunes in the North. He noted that the party’s winning stricts smashed from 12 to 5 in a span of few years. Observing that the performance underscores the disunity and disenchantment among members of the party. Hon Aruwa pointed that, the tour for peace and reconciliation has become a sin quen non to bridge gaps and bring the party to winning ways. He prayed stakeholders to awaken to the responsibility of reengineering the party for the good of youths and the nation. The seasoned mobilizer Hon Aruwa informed the Former Governor that Northern youth are not interested in the lingering party crisis and urged the elders to wage in with a view of resolving the crises.

Responding, the Fmr Governor appreciated the initiative of the youth to rescuing the North and Nigeria and pledge his support and fatherly counsel.

He emphasized that the tradition of fair sharing and unity of interest in the North and the party has been jettison for personal interest and polimarketing resulting into poor performance

Fmr Governor Haruna said the peace and reconciliation move from the northern youth has already put a moral burden on the elders and assured of peaceful resolution.
