Mallam Shakarau welcomed Northern Zonal and State Youth Leaders of PDP at around 12 52 noon

He thanked the Forum for taking time to see as part of their peace and reconciliation strategy to reengineer the party for victory

Mallam Shakarau said he was happy the PDP youth wing has awaken and is determine now to take responsibility for the growth of the party.

He congratulated State youth leaders for their victories at their various Congresses and urged them to remain committed to the ideals of the founding fathers of the party

The Fmr Gov commend the foresight of the northern youth as they work towards repositioning the party

He said It is in the interest of all if the leadership of the party is stable.

Mallam re echoed that only the spirit of oneness can rebuild the party.

He Appreciates the northern youth for not taking sides with parties in the party crisis

He reassures that whatever the crisis, it can’t consume the party but make it stronger assuring early resolution than anticipated.

Shakarau said the disciplinary arm of the party has been strengthened to ensure party supremacy but maintained reconciliation remains a better tool to ensuring victory at the polls.

He said the disciplinary committee is not witch hunting anybody but ensuring party supremacy.

Shakarau said the elders too have forms League of Leaders to encourage active political activities which will enhance emergence of good and sensitive leaders.

He said he League of Leaders is political but non partisan

The seasoned administrator Charged Northern youth to shun defeatist tendencies but work hard for victory.

He encouraged northern youth to go all out to savage the nation as the elders are watching their back.

Mallam Shakarau urged northern youth to live exemplary lives worth of emulation by others.
